Using the original console
The original console is deprecated and will be removed in release 27.04. Until then you can still switch back to it as described below.
The new console is the default. Its menu opens the new console for every page, and so does the menu of the original console.
If you prefer the original console, you can switch back:
- In the new console, open Settings → Account and turn on Use the original UI.
- In the original console, open User settings → Original UI, choose Enabled and save.
From then on, the menus of both consoles open the original console for every page it has. Pages that only exist in the new console, such as Analytics, Live Flags, Users, Process Monitoring and Profiling, still open in the new console. Links inside a page, such as the datasource links in Audit Events, always stay in the console you are using.
The choice is saved in your browser and applies to every namespace. Turn it off the same way to go back to the new console. Beta features are off while you use the original UI.
Where the consoles are
Each environment serves the new console on its main address, for example
https://<env>.energyworx.net, and the original console on https://original.<env>.energyworx.net.
Links and bookmarks to https://new.<env>.energyworx.net keep working: they open the same page on the
main address. Bookmarks of original-console pages on the main address open the same page in the new
console, or in the original console when only it has that page. Analytics is at /analytics;
/dashboard is the dashboard, as in the original console.
