Energyworx solutions are business modules: pre-built, tested sets of platform configuration that implement a complete business process, from the message that arrives to the result that leaves. A module bundles the flows, rules, data model configuration, dashboards and task boards the process needs. You install it into a namespace, adapt what differs in your market or organisation, and keep the rest as a maintained standard that moves along with every platform release.

The modules sit between the platform and your own configuration:

Energy Data Management

The Energy Data Management (EDM) modules cover the meter-to-cash process of a grid operator or energy supplier: keeping master data in sync, validating and completing meter readings, handling meter events and device commands, aggregating data for energy communities and network areas, and calculating billing determinants. Keep meters, metering points, network areas and contracts in sync from standard CIM messages, with acknowledgements back to the sender.

✔️ Meter Reads Processing (VEE)

Validate, estimate and edit meter readings automatically, with a quality status on every read and tasks for the exceptions.

🔔 Meter Events Processing

Store meter events, track switched-off meters and turn tampering, outage and failure events into tasks.

🎛️ Device Control Transactions

Connect or disconnect meters and relays and request readings on demand through the head-end system.

🧮 Aggregations and Calculations

Aggregate validated data per energy community and network area, and calculate self-consumption per member.

💶 Billing Determinants Calculation

Deliver totals, time-of-use splits, peak demand and register reads per billing period to the billing system, with gaps estimated first.

Billing Settlement and Prepayment are on the roadmap as further EDM modules.

Licensing

The business modules are a separately licensed add-on to the platform subscription. If your organisation has a standard-packages agreement, the standard-packages page explains how to get and install them; otherwise contact your Energyworx account manager.
